White House : OPEC+ oil output rise is a positive move

WASHINGTON: A top White House energy adviser declared on Wednesday that the plan by OPEC+ members to increase oil supply by 100,000 barrels per day is a positive step and that the Biden administration will continue to work to lower fuel prices.

Amos Hochstein, U.S. President Joe Biden's energy security adviser, told CNN in an interview that it was a step in the right direction.
