Aurat March: Guiding our Women to wrong path

08 Mar 2022 By Know Muslim

Recently, there’s a lot of discussion about Women’s March, a social or political protest for demanding the equal rights of women, organized in various cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sukkur and many other cities. The first Women March was held on 8 March 2018 in Karachi.

Instead of raising voice for actual and basic rights, this woman march is promoting all kinds of nonsense and obscenity. Some of the women’s carrying vulgar and offensive placards & going against the Laws & teachings of Islam by spreading hatred towards men, promoting western culture by wearing short clothes and doing every other thing which is strictly prohibited for women in Islam. Many of them are actually promoting Homosexuality which is one of the biggest sins in Islam. We know what happened to the Evil people of Sodom, Palestine (Qaum-e-Loot) who commits this sin (sexual interaction with men) openly and shamelessly. So, Allah (S.W.T) revealed Hazrat Loot (A.S) that he should summon the people to give up their indecent behavior and start following the right path of Allah but they were deaf to Loot’s preaching. So, Allah (S.W.T) gave them the punishment.

So, let’s get back to the Aurat March topic. These days, women’s rights under Islamic law have become a debatable issue for those who do not understand either women or Islam. The Qur’an and the Sunnah highlight protecting women, safeguarding their rights, and being kind to them, because they are often vulnerable and sensitive. There are many verses in the Qur’an which demonstrate equality between men and women; for example, in the act of creation. The Quran states:

‘O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another and the wombs.’ [An-Nisa, 4:1]

There should be serious action taken by government against those who are going against the preaching and Laws of Islam during this Aurat march. This vulgarity and Shamelessness during the Aurat march is not acceptable at any cost. We condemn those women of our society are not safe enough as we often hear rape cases which is rising in our country. If you Point out other problems which actually make nonsense instead of the actual issues which women face in our country, then this March should get banned from our Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
