US President Joe Biden mistakenly read the teleprompter instructions while addressing the public live on television and announcing the reproductive rights action.
In the video, which Global Times posted on Twitter, Biden is heard stating, "End of the quote, repeat the sentence."
The percentage of women who have registered to vote and have actually cast a ballot is regularly greater than the percentage of men, says Biden.
The quote is then concluded, he adds. Say the line again.
Biden appears to be moving forward without realising what he has done.
The president says, "Women have political and electoral power.
Biden has made mistakes before, including this one. Prior to that, he mispronounced Kamala Harris as the "First Lady," which caused the audience to break out in fits of laughing.
He once referred to Linda Thomas-Greenfield, his UN ambassador, as "Linda Thomas-Greenhouse" and Doug Emhoff, Harris' husband, as the "first gentleman."
