The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 89.6 km beneath the epicenter near Sanghar, Sānghar District, Sindh, Pakistan, late at night on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, at 10:16 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
