Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken on Wednesday to discuss the two countries' economic and trade ties.
FM Bilawal said his meeting with his US counterpart in New York was very beneficial.
“We talked about extending trade and investment, energy and climate change, health and education, IT and technology, and agriculture cooperation. Trade is more important than aid. We will continue to work together in the defence and CT industries.”
We emphasised the significance of the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-US relations, as well as our shared commitment to strengthening broad-based, comprehensive connections between the two countries." Bilawal had written.
Both leaders also emphasised the importance of US-Pakistan collaboration on regional peace, counterterrorism, Afghan stability, support for Ukraine, and democratic ideals, according to the report.
