Pakistan has Malnutrition, socio-economic problems faced by developing countries. It takes place owing to imbalanced or improper nourishment and poor sanitary conditions and hygiene practices. It results in poor health as well as education outcomes and impedes development and human growth.

Major problems due to Malnutrition in Pakistan are low birth weight due to poor maternal nutrition and deficiency of iodine.

Pakistan has been part of the global movement of Scaling up Nutrition since 2013 to combat these malnutrition challenges.

Malnutrition is a deep-rooted governance problem. In many parts of country They show such acute malnutrition.

Several areas in Sindh are severely affected, by intensifying malnutrition and stunting indicators. As many as 48 % children under the age of five are stunted while 35% of them are severely stunted.

The incidence of global acute malnutrition, a measurement of the in Tharparkar is more than 20% followed by Sanghar 16%.

The APP aims to reduce stunting from 48% to 30% by 2021 and to 15% by next years.
