The PMD predicts that moist currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal will likely start to move into the northern sections of the country on June 29 (Wednesday), and they may increase and spread to the southern regions by the end of this week.
From July 1 to July 5, this system is predicted to bring heavy rain and windstorms to Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, and Dadu. From July 3 to July 5, it may also bring urban floods to Karachi and Hyderabad.
Fishermen have been warned to take precautions in the wake of a lot of rain since the seas will be rough from July 3 to July 5.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has advised the relevant authorities to take all essential precautions to handle an emergency as a result of the heavy rain predicted in several areas of Sindh.
Additionally, the PDMA has warned people to avoid going near windows and doors when there is a lot of rain or wind.
